Formerly the old train station of St. Boniface, this Winnipeg landmark was the arrival point in Manitoba for many immigrants, and remained a busy centre of the community until its closure in the 1950s. Re-opened in 1969 as a Continental cuisine restaurant, Le Resto Gare is considered to be among Winnipeg’s finest restaurants, specializing in French cuisine.
