The Riel District
The “Riel District” consists of three Winnipeg neighbourhoods: Saint-Boniface, Saint-Vital and Saint-Norbert. Filled with stunning sites, attractions and experiences, this region is described as being the heart of Louis Riel’s history (Manitoba’s founding father) and the largest Western-Canadian francophone community. Come explore the ‘Joie de vivre’ of its people, and discover a part of Manitoba’s rich cultural history!
